Nijyu Bashi

EXPLANATION

Nijyu Bashi is located at Imperial Palace, Tokyo. That means Dabble bridge in English. At that time it was built (Edo period), this bridge had dabble structure. this is origin of name.

After that the bridge which has been build at Edo was re-build using iron.

 The bridge in the picture is not Nijyu Bashi. Real Nijyu Bashi is back of this bridge.

Wisteria flowers at Hakugo-ji

EXPLANATION

Early May is the best season for wisteria flowers. Especially Hakugou-ji(temple) at the Hyougo prefecture is famous, and beautiful.

Carp streamer

EXPLANATION

5th May is Japanese national holiday named The day for kids (Kodomo no hi).The carp streamer is lifted up to hope children's health and happiness.

This photo is carp streamer festival 1000 at Takastuki-city, Akutagawa-river. About one thousand carps are lifted up.

Soba

I would like to introduce about Japanese traditional food Soba noodle.
You can eat it whatever way or manner but there is the best way for deliciously.

1. You should eat cold Soba named Zarusoba.
2. Wasabi should be put on Soba. Not dissolve into Dashi (black liquid).
3. Make a sound and slurp Soba.

No3 is the most important. In the almost all world country, we should not make noisy during the meals. Japanese cuisine is same except Soba noodle.

EXPLANATION

This is new symbol named Tokyo sky tree. It is replace of Tokyo tower.

Mt.Fuji Shiba‐Sakura

EXPLANATION

Botanical name of shiba-sakura is Phlox subulata. A lot of shiba-sakura is planted at the park as Fuji-Motosuko-Resoｒt which is placed near the Mt.Fuji.

This event is held from middle of April to early May.

The direct bus from Shinjuku is available.

Onomichi

EXPLANATION

Onomichi is located at near Setonaikai-sea. This city has not flatland, so house and temple crowed in the slopw. Regarding the unice landscape, Onomichi is called city of slope.

Tokyo station -JR Shinkansen, about 4hours->Fukuyama staition.

Fukuyama staition -JR Sanyo ,about 30min ->Onomichi station.
